LEDs are the latest technology in lighting, comparing with incandescent, fluorescent, halogen and other lights, LEDs are more efficient: producing brighter light whilecutting down the ellectric bill. Effciency: LEDs produce more light per Watt than other light sources. Lifetime: LEDs can have 35, 000 to 60, 000 hours of useful life; fluorescent tubes are rated at about 10, 000 to 15,000 hours, and incandescent light bulbs at 1, 00 to 2,000 hours. Shock resistance: LEDs, being solid state components, are difficult to damage with external shock. Slow Failure: LEDs mostly fail by dimming over time, rather than the abrupt burn-out. Color: LEDs can emit light of an intended color without the use of color filters. Size: LEDs can be as small as 2mm and are easily populated onto circuit boards. Cycling: LEDs are ideal for uses that need frequent on-off cycling. Dimming: LEDs can every easily be dimmed. Cool light: LEDs radiate very little heat. Focus: LEDs can focus its light without external reflector. Toxicity: LEDs do not contain mercury. 80% lower electricity consumption lw power usage = 30w brightness 50, 000 working hours Benefits of using LEDs: -lower energy cinsumption -longer lifetime -smaller size -cool light & less heat -enhanced brightness -durable & realible |
